2) Report to school on Monday 29 Jun by 0710 for AYG Opening Ceremony. Class t-shirt will be given to you for changing in the morning.

3) Please bring your thermometer to school. Those who went to the camp, thermometers are with you. Those who didn't, thermometers are with me, except for Jason.

4) Another travel declaration form has been mailed to you through posts. Please get your parents to sign and bring back to school on Mon.

Last Day in camp

Last Day:

Today is the last morning we are staying in the camp.
We assemble at 0630 in the morning for a briefing.

Following, we start to work by moving all the floorboards back to the warehouse.

After removing all the floorboards, we went back to the canteen for breakfast.

And our last task is to strike down the tents and clean them before moving them back to the warehouse.

Under the hot morning sun, everyone worked together to get the job done.
With sweat, team effort, mud and water, we had a good workout to clean up our tents. We managed to complete our fair share before some other classes. Then we moved on to clean up the blogging room, which is air-conditioned!!! Give us the COOL!!!

3 days 2 nights camp has passed quickly.

The insects are gone, the cuts and bites will heal.

But the memories will always be with us.

Day 2 afternoon activities: Kayaking

Day 2 afternoon activities: Kayaking

After adventure valley, we went for kayaking happily. More fun with water!

When we were there, another group was finishing. So we waited and took some time to practice our cheers for campfire.

The instructor gave us a safety briefing and basic instructions to steer ourselves in the kayak.

Unfortunately, we were told that there is a lightning risk hence we were not allowed to carry on with the activity!!!

NO!!!!! THIS IS A LIGHTNING STRIKE to all of us~!!!

We came all they way but cannot go kayaking!???!!!

While we understand it's for our safety, we can't hide our disappointements..... =(

And because we were the last group, we need to carry the kayaks back to the campsite.

The kayaks are HEAVY!

Mr Teo SY, Mr Woo and Mr Kang were there to help us carry also.

With good teamwork, 2F managed to complete the task on time.

Learning moment: Life is not always fair. At times like this, we should remain strong and positive instead of complaining. Maybe something good will come by our way some time later? Hahaa...2F is no weakling to be beaten by a small disappointment!

Day 1 of the camp:

Below are some comments from the students when we first reached the camp site in the morning:

First of all teresa kwee & Jodie were feeling hot as the weather are damn hot. (actually all of us are feeling the heat of the weather....talk about global warming and saving Mother Earth!!)
Syiqin is the one who keep complaining through out the day saying that she is very itchy & not comfortable with the environment. She screams everytime she saw some "new friends" (insects) from nature. HAahAa...
Naf says that she`s so damn scared of the upcoming activities. (hopefully she becomes more courageous afther this camp)
& kenji was "crying" for home!! I think he should be home sick by now. Hahaa...
Some of the boys says that it was boring as the activities have not started yet. (Our first activity is blogging so have not try out the outdoor activities)

Below are some of the takeaways which some classmates have shared:
Jodie , Kenji , Keng joo & Jovial says that they wanted good memories & bonding with our classmates.
Syiqin & Naf says that they wanted to overcome the environment & activities.
While Lenis & Clara just wanted to have fun.
In consensus, the class hopes to learn more about teamwork and hopefully we can have an enjoyable time together since this could be the last year we are together as 2Famous!

' Get-together session ' !

Day 1 :
Boarded the bus early in the morning . Alia and Gang went crazy after hearing the so called ' Techno' song in the bus , haha ! :D They went singing almost the whole journey to the camp site.

The first view that welcome us is the high elements adventure course which I heard we will be doing also....looks scary but exciting! We took a short walk after alighting from the bus towards the assembly area where all classes sat around. After some "hot" time, our instructor Gabriel (handsome?? =P) took the class for a 'Get-together session' , If I'm not wrong . We were told to find out 2 likes and dislikes of our classmates. We now know each other VERY well eh ? Haa.

After this, we were brought to our new "house" for the next 2 nights. The tent that we are living on is rather small , but it's better than to have none ! Changed to our track pants and off we went to have our lunch! :D The food is not our liking though . Miss Mummy's/Daddy's cooking correct ? HAA! Above is some of the pictures that is taken by MK , so take a look at it bahh .

After this blogging session, we will be going for the high elements adventure course!!!
