Chapter 1-5.

Chapter 1:
Convenience Food
-Learn definition.
-Learn 2 advantages and 2 disadvantages of convenience food.
-Learn to read food label.

Chapter 2:
  • Know HOW and WHY need to carry out sensory evaluation.
  • How to improve dishes:
    -By using garnishing to make food more appetising.
    -Choosing a healthier cooling method e.g Boiling.
    -Use natural herbs to flavour food instead of salt/soya sauce.

    Chapter 3:
    -Know diff groups of micro-organisms
    -In what kind of environment do they survive/die?
    -Learn how to prepare and store food properly.

    Chapter 4:
    -Know what causes diet-related diseases.
    -know how to prevent them.

    Chapter 5:
    Advertisement
    - What advantages/disadvantages of advertising.
    -Types of advertisement media.
    -Types of advertisement techniques.
    -NEED TO ANALYSE ADVERTISEMENT.
